Normalville was so much fun! The weather was absolutely perfect, with lots of sunshine and the feelings of spring. The moon was full on Tuesday night which added a special feeling. We did experience a hard frost monday night and on Monday and Tuesday the spring north winds were blowing strong. It is really beginning to feel like spring!
The Canyon Grey Wolves were amazing. They had 4 zero food wastes this week which is a record for the year. Here is the list that we compiled:
Ocean:
Grey Whales (so many!!), prickleback, seals, elephant seals, marsh hawks, coastal sage, whimbrels, american kestrel attacking a red tail hawk
Forest:
arboreal salamandars, blewits, horn of plenties, hygrocybe, rough skinned newt, deer, coyote, kingfisher, spotted towhee, pygmy nuthatches, wrentit, mole shrew, blooming trillium, redwood violet, says phoebe, red breasted sapsucker
